Subject: Important Update: Final Eligibility Criteria for DTP Software Development

Dear DTP Software Development Participants,

This is a critical update regarding the eligibility requirements for participation in the DTP Software Development. To ensure that this hackathon serves its intended purpose and target audience, we are reiterating and clarifying the mandatory eligibility criteria.

Strict Eligibility Requirements for Participation:

Please be advised that all participants in the DTP Software Development must meet ALL of the following criteria:

  1. Rwandan Citizenship & Residency: You must be a Rwandan citizen currently residing within Rwanda.

  2. DTP Advanced Courses Completion: You must have successfully completed the DTP Advanced Courses.

  3. Official Email Invitation: You must have received a direct, official email invitation to this hackathon from the Rwanda ICT Chamber.

Action Required for Ineligible Participants:

If you DO NOT meet all three of these mandatory criteria, you are unfortunately ineligible to participate in this hackathon. We kindly request that you withdraw your registration from the DTP Software Development on Devpost immediately.

Consequences of Non-Compliance:

Failure to meet these eligibility requirements and/or failure to withdraw your registration if ineligible will result in:

  • Automatic Disqualification: Your project submission will be immediately disqualified and will not be judged.

  • Forfeiture of Prizes: You will not be eligible to receive any prizes, even if your project is submitted.

  • Potential Penalties: Depending on the extent of non-compliance, further penalties may apply, including but not limited to, being barred from future Rwanda ICT Chamber and partner events.

We understand that this may be disappointing for some, and we appreciate your understanding as we strive to maintain the integrity and focus of this event for its intended beneficiaries.
